Journalism Articles

Journalism is my favorite profession; I’m turning it into a career. Come and see what I’ve worked on during both Journalism classes at DCCC and at West Chester University; five of which are in DCCC’s newspaper called The Communitarian, and fourteen articles are in The Quad, WCU’s campus newspaper. Also included is an Ad Copy and Broadcast Copy.

Ramadan: A Month of Day-Long Fasting

This article describes a religious holiday that had occurred around the time I had started writing it called Ramadan. It fascinated me because it comes from an opposing religion, Islam.

If I were to describe Ramadan, it would be Yom Kippur, but it lasts all month.

I want to thank the Department of Languages and Cultures Chair, Dr. Mahmoud Amer, for lending me his views on Ramadan.
